HOUSEHOLD KERBSIDE RECYCLING

Most households have access to a kerbside recycling collection in a yellow lidded wheelie bin.

The following items can be recycled in these bins

  • Paper and cardboard including milk and juice cartons
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Steel cans including aerosols (not paint)
  • Aluminim cans and aerosols and foil trays
  • Plastic containers with the numbers 1 - 7 (no polystyrene foam)

RECYCLING OTHER ITEMS

Many other items can be recycled. They should be taken to your local Resource Recovery Centre (Transfer Station) or other businessess that recycle specific items.
