Plastics (codes 1 - 7)

Plastic bottles and other domestic containers can be recycled via your council kerbside yellow lidded recycling bin.

Most transfer stations also have bins for recycling plastic containers.

Clean plastic agricultural and veterinary chemical drums can be recycled via the drumMUSTER program at major Resource Recovery Centres (Transfer Stations).

Other Plastics

Agricultural plastic films (e.g. silage wrap, baling twine) are not currently recyclable at the Resource Recovery Centres.

Builder's plastic, shrink wrap, plastic toys, plastic furniture etc. are not currently recyclable at the Resource Recovery Centres..
